DCM 'Fussy Cutting'

This week is Jo's turn to set the dare over at Daring Cardmakers, and Jo would like you to use patterned paper in a slightly different way..

'Fussy Cutting'

Instead of using your paper 'straight', this week it's all about using the designs on the paper as your inspiration and cutting bits from them to build up a background and / or to make an embellishment.

Here's my card....

For my fussy cutting, I used the hexagonal paper from MME and cut out a section to build up my background over the top of the dotty paper.   I added a 'so happy for you' sentiment from WMS.  The butterfly was lying around in my stash and is a die and stamp from PTI.  I added a few buttons and some bakers twine.

Supplies used:
Cardstock - MME Be Amazing Paper
Stamp - Compact Sentiments from WMS
Buttons - MME Be Amazing Button card from The Ribbon Reel
Twine - Yellow Bakers Twine from The Ribbon Reel

TFL!

Fab card, Keilly - those papers are brilliant - perfect for fussy cutting :) Love the sentiment too!
