I couldn't wait to get designing with the Crafty Templates new April templates and was spoilt for choice this month. We also got to design with the Day Dreamy Cardmaking Kit.
I layered up the papers, adding a roughly cut circle from voile before placing a doily die cut over the top. I also cut a strip of the voile and tied it into a bow, fraying the edges, adding a Kesi Art Paper Bloom and secured it with a white flower pin. The birthday girl sentiment is a sticker from Crate Paper.
As soon as I saw these fab cupcakes I knew I had to use them. I printed
the image out twice, first paper piecing the cupcake case onto some
pale pink and white chevron paper and then colouring the pink icing and
cherry with Promarkers. So cute!
