This week is Nat's turn to dare us over at the Daring Cardmakers.
Nat wants us to get creative with felt. You can use felt to make your own handmade embellishments, pre-made felties or even raid the accessories sale bins for something unique to add to your project!
Here is my card (apologies for the poor lighting, I think I need to invest in a soft light box or something).
I went for quite a simple card and love how it turned out. I used my Tim Holtz die to create the vintage dress form and inked with Distress Ink to age a little more!
My choice of felt was this little white heart. I was originally looking for my 3d flower die cut but have lost it! So, I opted for a heart, as I am using this lots on my handmade Christmas decorations at the moment. The little 'smile' sentiment is from the Mini Vintage Sheets at Crafty Secrets. I added some cameo beige seam binding to the waist of the dress form.
Supplies used:
Cardstock - MME Lost & Found from the ribbon reel
Dies - Tim Holtz Sewing Room, Sizzlet Heart
Punch - Martha Stewart Scallop with 2 Dots
Ribbon - Seam binding and 18mm Natural Crochet Lace from the ribbon reel
Other - Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink
TFL!

That's lovely Keilly, the combination of print paper, seam binding and the little heat is fab! :D
ThIs is beautiful Keilly, I love the die cut dress form, looks fabulous in the newsprint, and I love the overall vintage feel for this! I keep meaning to enter a card for the DCM challenge, I will if I get some time today.
Gorgeous card, I love that vintage dress form, and the little heart sets it off so nicely - love it! Sx
