Let's Rock

This week is Kathy's turn to set the dare over at The Daring Cardmakers. Kathy has chosen 'Rocking All Over the World' and asked us to make a Wobble Card. These are cards which have a curved base so that when you tap them they rock, or wobble from side to side.

Now what you put on your card is up to you, BUT if you're up for a bit more of a challenge, how about adding something of a pun, and giving your card a "rocking" theme too - Rock and Roll, Rocking Horse, You Rock My World, Whisky on the Rocks, Rocket Man ....ohhh the list is (almost) endless! So, are you ready to Rock? Check out what the team have been making this week to help inspire you.

This is my card:

I probably went for an obvious rock n roll theme but I love how its turned out. Completely out of my comfort zone and not colours I would usually choose but it was totally fun to put together.

The skull and crossbones is a rub on by Love Elsie.

The pearl aqua seam binding has been stained with Crushed Shells Glimmer Mist and scrunched to give it an old scruffy look (hopefully you can make it out in the photo), with a pink button tied to it with some yummy red button twine.

Supplies used:
Cardstock - Love Elsie Papers
Rub On / Sticker - Love Elsie
Ribbons - Pearl Aqua Seam Binding and Red Button Twine from
here
Button - from stash
Font - 84 Rock from dafont.com
Other - Crushed Shell Glimmer Mist, PTI Circle Dies, Kaisercraft Rhinestones from here

TFL!
