Butterflies

I wanted to take part in two challenges this week, the first is the Daring Cardmakers challenge to create a card using bugs, butterflies or bees etc. The second is The Shabby Tea Room's Monochromatic challenge.

I have at long last received my PTI Love Lives Here stamp set and butterfly dies and knew I had to use them on my card. I wasn't sure about what colour to use for The Shabby Tea Room's challenge but opted for one of my favs, teal. It was actually quite hard to keep to one colour and not to add a neutral colour. After finishing the card and re-reading the challenge, I realised I could have used a neutral - oh well!

Supplies used:
Cardstock - Bazzill, Crate Paper Snow Day
Ribbon - Pearl Aqua seam binding from the ribbon reel
Flowers - paper flowers from stash, crochet flower from etsy
Stamps - PTI Love Lives Here

TFL!
