Welcome friends to another fun fortnightly challenge at The Ribbon Reel!
Helen is our lovely host this week and she has chosen this fab inspiration photo.....
...and ask that you create a card /project using the colour from the inspiration photo
(CORAL, BRIGHT/CHARTREUSE GREEN & BLUE)
plus use a DIE CUT/PUNCH plus RIBBON & FLOWERS!
Here is my card...
This was such a fun challenge and one I found it much easier than I thought I would to use this colour combo. I started by creating my card from coral bazzill cardstock, layered with Basic Grey kraft paper, followed by this beautiful green patten paper from Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two paper set.
The central die cut shape is from the Tea for Two Element Deck from Cosmo Cricket which matches the paper perfectly. The circular and label die cut are from Fancy Pants. I layered the die cuts over a paper doily, stamping a 'feel better soon' sentiment from WMS's Afternoon Tea set, one of my many favourite WMS sets. At the last minute I stuck a coral button from my stash to the sentiment.
To finish the card, I added a beautiful cornflower blue gardenia blossom, 3 small blue roses and not forgetting...the watermelon crochet lace (although this looks quite like coral) and a strip of celery loop trim.
